5 TRANSIT ROUTE CHANGES SOUGHT Authority Is being sougnt by Indianapolis Railways to change five street car and bus routes as part of the company’s 1947 improvement program. The transit firm proposes to abandon street car operations on East Michigan and West Washington streets and replace the rail cars with new motor coaches, fast Washington cars would loop in the downtown area and be operated as a separate line. The present West Washington, Drexel Gardens and Rockville Road feeder bus lines would become through motor coach lines to the downtown area. The third major change proposed would make the Clifton Feeder bus line a through line to Monument Circle, operating over
