Be. 3973. t Butler Bulldogs To Meet Wabash" Here, Feb. 15 The Butler Bulldogs are scheduled to meet the “Little Giants” of Wabash in the Wabash Fieldhouse February 6. On February 15 they will have a game here in >the Butler Fieldhouse, in a return game with Wabash. Butler will clash with the “Boilermakers” from Purdue on February 22 in the Butler Fieldhouse.

Fans who have been attending these Butler games are more than enthusiastic about the Butler band. It is one of the finest aggregations of musicians with plenty of vigor, vim and vitality in their music. All the fans greatly enjoy hearing their selections, and last Monday night during the half, when , the band . played “When Irish Eyes Are Smiling,”, in honor of the lads from Notre Dame, the huge audience joined in by singing the well-known ballad. It'was a great crowd and a great game, eve*, if Butler did lose. The Baby’s Diary

Dear Diary: Today I am just sixteen days old. I believe I shall like this, big world, however as yet I have not seen much.of it My mother was Frances Floyd before she married George W. Hicks—that good looking daddy of mine! I love both of them oh! so much. You can see Diary, my dear little mother met me at the Methodist Hospital. She arrivea there before I did, for which I am very glad, for you know, some other mother and daddy might have taken a fancy to me and taken me home with them —if I had been there first! I

Yes, Diary I am one of those fortunate babies whose daddy was in the war and came back to make a lovely little. home for mother and—the baby! Now all the time I am a bit sad is when I see some one who did not get to have a little home with a baby in it because the daddy never came back. When I see some one like that I just want —so much—to be their baby too! I know daddy and mother are so happy because they have me. And how I love the way Grandmother and Granddaddy Floyd do all the lovely things for me—the baby! Well Diary, my eyes are getting full of sand—or something and I am so-o-o sleepy-y-y-y, I just can’t stay awake any longer so good bye Diary for today. Wesley Bruce Hicks.
