ST. CHRISTOPHER’S CATHOLIC CHURCH Rev. L. A. Lindemann.— —Pastor Sunday Masses: 6:00 o’clock Weekday Masses 7:00 o’clock The men of St. Christopner will receive Holy Communion at the 8:30 o’clock Mass on Sunday morning—the first Sunday in the month of October. A High Mass was said on Monday morning of this week at six o’clock for Fred Medenwald, offered by the Altar Society. Miss Mary Jo Rosner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Rosner of West 15th Street, will be married to John W. Ferguson, nephew of Mr. and Mrs. James Jacobs of Centennial Street, Saturday morning at 10 o’clock, in Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Rev. Leo Lindemann will read the double ring ceremony. A reception at the Rosner home will be held Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Walter Freund, Chairman of the Card Party sponsored by the Altar Society, again invites you one and all to come to the Party Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock in Block’s Auditorium. A nice party has been planned, so don’t miss it. All the members of the Committee, along with their Chairman, Mrs. Delia Collins, for the Rummage Sale want to thank everyone who helped with donations or in any other way to make the Sale a success. In France, on September 19th, the 100th anniversary of the apparition of the Blessed Virgin on the mountain of La Salette was observed. At all the Masses next Sunday will be the enrollment of new members to the Rosary Society, and it is hoped that every member of St. Christopher will desire to be enrolled. Members of the Rosary Society pledge themselves to say a complete rosary once a week—that is the three decades—dividing their prayers into daily prayers or saying the complete rosary at one time, which ever way they wish. As this is the month of October, the month of the Holy Rosary, every Catholic should have the desire and surely could find the time to say one decade of the Rosary daily. Monday, October 7th, is the Feast day of the Most Holy Rosary. reboJa .thing is faithful also in much.”—St. Luke 16:10.
