The brush bristles will come out easily, once they've been boiled, and the plastic handles are soft enough to bend without breaking. You can even twist them into initials to wear as pins, if you prefer. The colors are perfect for jewelry. be assisted by Mrs. Ralph Hueber who served as chairman of the division last year. Mr. Hoke pointed out that the 1946 drive will be one of the most important in the history of the Red Cross and urged the support of every community in order to insure its success. “The work of the Red Cross must carry on” said Mr. Hoke, “we must carry on for the man still in the armed forces, the hospitalized service men and the veteran returned to civilian life. In addition to these obligations the peace time program of the Red Cross must continue and develop as the needs of the community warrant. With the continued help and cooperation you have given us in the past, there is no doubt in my mind but that we will achieve our goal and your Red Cross will continue to carry on in the future as it has done so splendidly in the past”
