SCHOOL NEWS Speedway High School football team will its ffist game this Friday nightat the Speedway Stadium. The gam.e is against Greenwood and will be called at 8 p. m. The school band will play. A large crowd is expected as the Sparkplugs start another season. One of the Speedway men teachers is still without a house. Anyone having a house lor rent in Speedway or knowing of someone who has a house for rent should call Mr. Cory at Belmont 1082 or at his home, Belmont 2003-W. GfEbuis Trosky, Floyd Troth, and Louise Liebenderfer are takjng work toward their master’s degrees at Butler University this semester. At a special high school convocation last Friday afternoon the following yeljteaders were elected for this schoOi-year: Dorothy Phipps, Norma Jean 'Basey and Katie Heatorv Rationing of gasoline coupons will be held at the elementary school building next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 3:30 to 7:30 x -o’<fiock. Mrs. Edna Edwards is school site administrator. Every effort will be made to have enough help on hand so that people will not be kept waiting any great length of time for their coupons. If the school finds that sufficient help has not been provided they will make an effort to make an increase in the staff in order to facil-
