Message Given To Soldiers Before Invasion SUPREME HEADQUARTERS ALLIED EXPEDITIONARY FORCE The following message from General Isenhower to the troops before the invasion was received by Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Cullem, 1037 Shannon avenue, from their son, Lt. A. P. Cujlem, who is a navigator on a troop carrier plane. His was the first plane to drop paratroopers in the invasion. Besides carrying troops to battle the troop carrier planes evacuate the wounded. Before entering service Lt. Cullem was a brakeman for the New York Central railroad. Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen of the Allied Expeditionary Force! You are about to embark upon the Great Crusade, toward Which we have striven these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you.
