Who s Who In Speedway (By Mrs. Leontine Webster) Mrs. Martha Parsons Craigle has taught language, arts to second and third grades in Speedway school for thirteen years. She was born at Plainfield, Indiana, January 27th, 1907, the daughter of Lester W. Parsons and Ida Parsons. She attended grade school and high school at Valley Mills, Indiana, graduating in 1924. In 1927 Mrs. Craigle graduated from Blakers Teachers College, in 1933 graduated with B. S. degree in science, from Central Normal College, and will graduate in January 1943 from Butler University with M. S. degree. Mrs. Craigle taught one year at Valley Mills, Indiana, one year at Garden City, number eight school Wayne Township, and thirteen years in Speedway. On December 4,1937 she married Albert Craigle at Danville, Indiana. Mrs. Craigle has traveled most of tne United States and Mexico. She is a member of the Fairfield Friends Church, Indiana State Teachers Association, National Education Association, and the Indianapolis Women's Golf Association. Her hobby is golf. Her ambition has always been to be a teacher and we hope her choice may always be a pleasure to her.
