Dream Girl Visions Even in waking hours it is possible for the brain to create visual pictures which are not the result of actual seeing. A love-sick man can see “the girl of his dreams” without much difficulty. If he shuts his eyes to close out conflicting impressions from the surroundings, the picture of his sweetheart is still more vivid.

REVISED RULING FOR CCC Changes in CCC regulations will open enrollment to unemployed youths whether they come from relief families or not, Martha G. Breidenbaugh, Hendricks County welfare director, was informed today by a bulletin from the Federal Security Administration. According to the Revised ruling, youths who do not have dependents are permitted to deposit their earnings with the CCC finance office until the end of their enrollment period, when it will be returned to them in a lump sum. The director pointed out that this, change opens the CCC to an entirely new group, of youths, who although not actually in want have been unable to find jobs or to go on to school. Boys who have finished high school and want to go 'to college have an opportunity to join the CCC and save enough money in six months or a year to help them meet the expense of a college education.

Many distinguished Masons have accepted their invitations to be present for this patriotic'assembly and convocation. i. SPEEDWAY THEATRE You want to take certain precautions when you go to see Jack Benny in his newest comedy, “Buck Benny Rides Again,” starting Sunday for a three day showing at the Speedway Theatre. We recommend aii extra strong belt or girdle, to guard against sidesplitting; and your oldest dress or suit of clothes, against rolling in the aisles. For Benn’s newest picture is also undoubtedly his funniest, and if you can contain your mirth when Jack mounts a horse and rides the herd, then you are a rougher audience tnan this reviewer. We further defy you not to howl with laughter whep Rochester does his imitation of Fred Astaire.
The story starts with Jack and his colleagues at a broadcasting station. The shift to the wild west begins when Jack tries to impress his girl friend in the picture, played by Ellen Drew, with the notion that he owns a ranch in Nevada. Ellen takes him up on it, with the result that Jack has to be extricated from his difficulty by Andy Devine, who actually owns a ranch. Thereafter, the scene is the range where Jack goes through the motion of twirling a lasso, branding steers, and riding the herd—for none of which his past as a Waukegon cowboy had fitted him. How he extricates himself, with the critical assistance of Rochester, Phil Harris, Andy Devine and other loyal members of his company, forms the denouement. or something. Anyway it all is swell fun. “Opened By Mistake” featuring Charlie Ruggles, Robert Paige and Janice Logan round out the second half of the bill. This trip-hammer laugh-thriller starts with reporter Robert Paige wanting a vacation, and being gullible enough to take Charles Rugftles’ advice. The plan doesn’t work but it uncovers a truck that covers a corpse. Cods aren’t far behind this discovery, nor is Janice Logan, who is looking for a million dollars, sached in a Similar trunk. Charlie tries to keep his head clear, and anxiously tries to help everyone in the madcap maze of mixed drinks, mistaken identies, and mysterious murders that follow. William t Fraley an old hand at baiting i Charlie, acts the role of an indignant publisher.
OPERATOR SENDB POLICE, WHO NAB BURGLAR Quick thinking on the part of Mrs. Donnie Mills, night telephone operator at Athens, <3a., led recently to the arrest of a burglar. When a call came through from a sandwich shop at 4:30 o’clock in the morning, Mrs. Mills became suspicious, as she knew that the shop closed around midnight. She called the police immediately and told them about the call, and then switched back to the shop and held the caller on the wire, under the pretense that she was trying to complete his call. When the police arrived they arrested a man who had broken in. THE SPEEDWAY FLYER IS SPEEDWAY’S OWN. SEND IN YOUR NEWS ITEMS
