Last Friday evening the Speedway Christian Church was the scene of a Girl ScoutBrownie Fly-up ceremonoy. Ten Brownies of Pack 5 flow up into Scout Troop No, 10* Mrs* Etter, Capt*, lira* King*and Heaton, Assistants The girls entering the scout troop are* Mazel Collins, Annabolle Dickorson, Nancy Hogue, Marjorie Lineback, Catherine Medenwuld, Barbara Reono, Ruth Rosner, Joy Schoonoway, Louise Steffani, and Joyce Williams, The oldor Brownies of Pack No, 17 will advance to Pack No* 5 and noet Friday aftornoon with Mrs, Holon Coilins and Violet Hoyt and a now assistant, Mrs, Bernice Farley* Mrs, Hanke and Mrs* Heston, leaders of Pack No* 17 will moot with the now Brownies on Thursday afternoon •

The first meeting of the Speedway Musicale will be held next Tuesday aftornoon, September 19th, at the home of Mrs, Georgia Stewart* The program, to bo given by tho members of the club, will include a paper by Mrs* Edith Spencer, Music from the pens of Mascagni, Bohn, Bachman, and Bischoff will be played*
