Wo want to picture to you the most beautiful Christmas scene that wo can remember. 1 * ■ . It was a good many years ago and tho sotting was an old log houso on a slope of ground, surrounded, by •big trees. Below tho houso there was a winding crook. Tho ground was covered with sparkling snow, almost covering tho old fence of split rails with pins through tho posts to hold thorn in place. Thoro was an old fashioned fireplace in tho largo room and the fire crackled and burned all night, which gave soino light to tho room. It was Christmas Evo and very oarly in tho morning when wo crept out of our bod and made our way to t,ho old chimnoy to soo what Santa had put in our stockings, wo found only a few simple homemade cut-out cookies, sone candy, an orange, and a simplo toy, but, oh, what joyl And, wo can hear Dad and Mother, who hud boon sleeping with one eye op.on say with gladness in thoir hearts, "Horry Christmas". And so it is, with gladness in our hearts, even though it be a sow days in advance of Christmas, that wo say to you and yours, " A Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous Now Yoarl" Yos, wo almost forgot our subject, "braces". At tho ond of that old rail fence wore two largo posts and stout braces running to tho ground. Without those braces, tho fonco would soon collapse and go down. In business, you and several thousand loyal customers are our "braces", and, without your friendship and loyal support, our business would soon sag and go down and this is what wo want you to know, more than we can toll,, of our doop appreciation.
