Although help was brought from Indianapolis, tho Speedway mon are to bo congratulated for their work. Water was on the fire in four minutes. Hr. Beeler, fire chief, worked hard with tho volunteers to .got tho fire in control.. Ho should bo congratulated for his work. Tho only suggestion wo have to make is that wo noov a definite volunteer -firecompany to. work under Hr. Boole which will drill regularly to become more familiar with the splendid equipment, which, wo have. Of course there woretho usual number of "Wis’o Boys" present who refused to dirty thoir hands but guvo plenty of advise and criticism. A law might be passed to keep those "helpers" home when there is a fire. Of course its only a suggestion. Anyhow, wo say, congratulations to those who X/orkod hard to control the fire. ■ Hrs. Harvel, Hr,. Smith;-., and Hr. Kennedy wish to thunk all those who helped, also. • • •
