Anderson will - speak on the subject: "A Now National Housing Act". Tho music for the aoWic-e will be led by tho junior Cho.EU.lo ’ under tho direction of Mrs. ; ; Anderson* The Chorale will sing: "Teach Kib Thy Way." You are invited, to come and enjoy this hour of worship led by tho junior choir. Miss Moyer is the choir pianist. VESPERS 4:30 , . The choir from tho Seventh Christian Church will sing at -4:30-next Sunday afternoon. Tho choZir will bo- under tho direction of 'Williain Fr.anklin with Edith Loftin as pianist. Mr. Anderson will speak on: "Honesty Tho Backbone of Character". Tho program will include throe numbers by* the choir and a solo •by Mr. Franklin who will sing "Tho Living God" by O'Hara. This choir is one of.the splendid musical organizations in our cit f churches, and we are auro that yojj will enjoy the program and the fellowship. Como to tho vospor hour and worship next Sunday afternoon at 4:30. - - - Evon with bad weather last Sunday our Chur.ch School had an attendance of 246. Do you know that our average attendance for tho winter has been about 100 MORE than last winter? Why not join this large group!

TOWN' DO IN'S' • The church hua allowed Mr. Dyer the usle of the church auditorium again next Wednesday night for another Townsond Pension Plan meeting. The public is invited to this mooting and Mr. Dyer, stato organizer- will- speak. :4 : : ::: annifal Valentine- . Cabaret will. be hold on Fob. 14th at tho school. Seo Mrs. Bills or Mrs. Ramsay for tickets. . f ■•••••• In the article in tho FLYER last'week concerning the Colored Park Project -tho part of- Mr. Hugh ,Carter was not mentioned. The .land was- to • havp been purchased from Mr. Carter but before the date set by the., government arrived, ■L'r, Carter had refused to soil his land for, the colored project so close to Speedway. This was- not mentioned last week because wo did not know the above facts,- however,- now that we know that-Mr. Carter had refused to soil, wo- need to thank him as well as the congressmen for his service to this town. So-, wo add his - name to the appreciation- list along with that of tho town board. Tho town board deserves a vote of thanks for their alertness in a time special civic crisis.
