SPEEDWAY CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR NEXT SUNDAY-JAN. 13 ' HORNING WORSHIP 10:40 Mr. Anderson will preach at the morning service before the communion service. Next Sunday will begin the ninth year of the ministry for Mr. Anderson; in view of this his -morning sermon will bee "Trends of Yesterday and Hopes of Tomorrow" Mrs. Phoebus, soprano, will sing Handel 1 s Largo' during the service. The music will be led by the morning choir. VESPERS --4:3.0 Another good musical program will feature the vesper hour in the afternoon. The’young people chorus will sing the vesper music for us again, and the male quartet (that sang so well last Sunday afternoon) will sing t.he famous Crusader’s Hymn. Mr. Anderson will begin a short series of vesper talks under the general theme: "Traits of Character Jhich People .Admire." The first of these talks will be on "Loyalty, First Aid To Duty" NOTICE-CORRECTION The Ladies Auxiliary of the Los Amigos Class will not meet on the.third Wednesday of Jan. but will meet on the fourth Wednesday, January 23rd. This error made a conflict with the Needle Work Guild which the above announcement corrects. The first announcement was a mistake for which the editor apologizes. Mr. Jay reports that any child that will be six by April Ist may enter school Jan. 21st.
