-PENNY SUPPERTho Ladies Aid Society will give a Penny Supper at tho church noxt Thursday evening at 6 P.M, Tho menu will include Fried Chicken, Watch for handbills noxt wook with tho entire menu. But save noxt Thursday night, August 16th for tho Penny Suppor. Tho ministdr will leave on his' vacation 'August 20 th. Ho will bo absent' from tho pulpit one Sunday morning, Aug. 26th, Mr. Wales Smith will bo tho guest speaker for that Sunday. The Town Board Announces Good Nows For Speedway Citizons. Tho town board of Speedway has released through tho columns of tho Flyer some very good nows for users of eloct.ricity in Speedway. ..After L many conferences with the ■ Light Co. the members of tho board hpvo sign-od' a now con tract with tho Power .and Light • Co, for Speedway Street lights which will save 'the taxpayer about 18$ for thoso lights. In addition tho board has secured now and choapor rates for private current consumers.
