ANOTHER GRADUATING CLASS Commencement time hag come again. A new group of twenty-three Speedway children are ready to be enrolled jn. high school as freshman. We desire greater success for them in their next four years of happy school life» than they have had so far in the eight.- grades of elementary work. and forward to more, worthy goals. The eighth grade seas enjoyed a varied and bu.sy year. They were active and each pupil has contributed in some measure to the renown of the Speedway School. Their var’.ous activities in cluind, athletics, art, u-uuetics, as well as the regular scholattic work. Several pupils were outstanding students. Some day probably some of them will be members of Phi Beta Kappa, honorary scholastic fraternity. Those graduates look back with pride to their January program for P,T.A« their class play, The Penny Pirates; their trip to sever-'1 leading business concerns in. Indianapolis; their part in winning Girl's Champion-, ship in basketball; and the cup won by the traffic squad, and finally class day with those long-sought and hard-earned diplomas.
