-Girl Sc-cuts-The girl scout troop' entertained with their monthly party Wednesday afternoon. Games of end ball and - basketball were played. Mary C. Hazlewood was invested. After the games, the committee served homemade fudge and pop corn. There were thirteen girls present.

Mrs. Detainers, local girl scout captain, was a guest at the tea given recently in honor of the 21st birthday of the girl scouts. Fortyfive, girls' leadens were present. Mrs. McNutt was the guest of honor, Mrs. Detamore, since taking over the scout work- for the church, has made great progress with the local troop as well as making her own advancement as t roop captain.
