Almost every system of liquor control has been tried. Why not give prohibition a chance-of course people break the law,, but look at the ton commandments*
-Father 4 Son Pinner A Success-Sikty-eight dads and their sons gathered last Monday night for a real event at the Speedway Christian Church*- This event was the first annual Father A Son Dinner. The program opened with a fellowship "Confab" in the church auTiitorium -where a recorded progranr of mus.ic was presented. Then followed thedinner of Creamed chicken, and all the trimmin*s< Tho Speedway orchestra played during the dinner hour. Mr.' Herbert Wilson of Butler University sang three splodid numbers. Cion Denton and Harold Huber.entertained with some patriotic music in honor of Washington's 200th birthday. The. local scout committoe-Mr. Bilbee, Mr* Strouse, Mr. Burgess, and Mr. EdCormick wore The scout troop was presented and gave the scout oath. As’ a real climax H*G* Rowe gave a stirring address to dads and their sons. Re.v. And.orson was toastmaster. This dinner is to be' an annual event on Feb. 22nd.
