What the minister said last Sunday! - A CHRISTMAS SERMON - The world is full of misunderstanding. Economically, men are pushing each other about, each trying to out-push the other man. Socially we allow ourselves to become snobs; we assume' a superiority not our b ,own. In the field of religion we soon become heretic-hunters; anyone who daros to disagree with us concerning the principles of religion is anathema. Now for all of these common sins, Chr.istmas has a sermons Jesus came into the world in the simplicity and purity of childhood. To a world of misunderstanding, ho brought tolerance and lovo. The entire life of Jesus is the story of a great love for men who sinned. He gave the benefit of the doubt to the woman taken in adultery-he promised paradise to the thief repenting on the .cross. He never sanctioned evil but ho did express hope for the man who had fallen .Others misunderstood and became uogmat'ist &; Jesus understood and lovod. ■"0 God. That men would see a little clearer, Or judge loss harshly where they can x. not see; 0 Godi That.men would draw a little nearer To ono another. They’d be nearer theeAnd understood!" -Amen
