Ben Rinehart and wife, of Walkerton, 9 were the guests of their brother-in-law, 5 D. W. Dipert, last Sunday. ’ J. 11. Peddycord and wife visited with relatives in South Bend the forepart of - last week. Louis Dipert and wife, of North Liberty, were the guests of D. W. Dipert last Sunday. Asher Stillson and family came back home from Louise, Ga. They expect to remain in this country in the future. Asher is a good citizen and they are always welcome in this vicinity. J. P. Dipert and Miss Lillie Davis were the guests of J. R. Lampson last Sunday. Thonty-four guests took dinner with p. W. Dipert last Sunday. William Sult and wife ware called to their brother-in-law’s, Henry t/oncs, who lives south of Hamlet, on account of the death of their baby, which wu s a little over one week o, dPaul Sult, Sr., and daughter Rill. 1 I visited with Henry Sult last Sunday. Miss Martha Stillson will visit a week 1 with her uncle, Benny Rinehart, in Walkerton. Albert Suit’s baby is on the sick list this week. E. G. Mrs. Gus McNeil, of LaPaz, was visiting with her parents of this place a few days last week. The teachers’ institute held here Saturday was well attended. Dan Boone is here visiting with his parents. R. S. Shaffer is boarding in the country this winter with his daughter, Mrs. Calvin Beagles. Dr. Reynolds, of Plymouth, is waiting on J. E. Johnson. Wes Lopp is going in the rabbit business. He says they are worth two dollars per dozen, in Chicago. The factories all shut down for Tuesday to let the men go rabbit hunting. Ben Shupp, of Liberty, was through hero Monday buying calves.
