Krenter was running away, and ran over and against Dr. Kelly, on last Friday. The Dr. had his left leg amputated as a result of the in juries received. Two of H. E. Krenter’s hired men camo to town with a load of hay on the 20th inst. On their return the one man fell from the wagon and broke his neck, and died almost instantly. He was a resident of Minster Auglaize county, Ohio. His remains were interred at our cemetery. Perrine’s show was held here on the 20th and 21st of this month. It is regarded as a good entertainment. Dr. Thompson, of Winamac, and Dr. Smith of Knox, formerly of Walkerton, performed the amputation of Dr. Kelly’s leg- r . , v , R. P. Holliday is on the sick list. A. I. Gould has declined the judicial race. W’. B. Sinclair is looking to his inter cuts for State Superintendent. He is a good school man, and if chosen, will be the pride of his constituents and a credit to our state. His party could not have made a better selection. Sheriff Harvey is seeking reelection
