The prize lighter, Costello, who walked out of the Crown Point court room after the jury had returned a verdict of gi. Ity in his case, fixing his punishment at two years in prison, is said to be in Chicago, but he has so far sucessfully eluded the detectives. On last Saturday evening about fifty G. A. R. boys with their reinforcements, the Relief Corps ladies and others, stormed the fort at P. Q. Nichols’ residence. After a few rounds of refreshments, the victory was won. The soldiers took full possession and had '1 jolly tium. Alt returned to flickhomes, feeling happy, as good soldiers do, after gaining a victory. Reporter.
