The annual fair of the Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan Agricul tural society will bo held at the fair grounds between Mishawaka and South Bend from Sept. 12 to 16 inclusive. The South Bend papers contain ac-1 counts of two accider' '1 deaths in that,.! city last Monday. George Strauss, I while leaning over the edge of an elevator shaft was struck by the elevator, receiving such serious injuries that he died in a short time after the accident. He was about 26 years old and is survived by a wife and one child. The other accident is that which occurred to the little child of Christopher Shott. The child while playing in the front yard pulled a cement urn over on its body, which crushed out its infant life.
