Billy Nelson is able to be around again after undergoing a second amputation of his ankle. He has been laid up for six weeks.
Lou Goodman went over to Indianapolis yesterday to meet his wife, on her return from New York, where she was called by the death of her sister.
Henry Miller,of Miller Bros., has purchased the lot at Seventh and Park street* from George S. Zimmerman, and will erect a line residence there this season.
President W. R. Molteen has so far re covered from his recent illness as to be able ujet out on the street. Be ha* about given up his projected trip to Florida.
Prof, and Mrs. C. A. Lepper were given a surprise Tuesday evening, at Gormimla hall, where they expected to attend a music rehearsal. The evening was pleasantly spent In dancing.
K. McElfresh has returned to *age City, Kansas, where he will remain until June. During his absence, Secretary Thompson and Ed. MeElfmUi will look after the interests of the can ning factory.
Will Katzenbaoh has taken a position as clerk to Victor Hendricks, engineer of maintenanceof the Michigan division of the Vandalla. Under the new arrangement the engineer's office will bo at Logansport.

home the newly married couple their new home in Olney. Prof. H. J. Kramer, brother of W. N. and Geo. N. Kramer, of this city, who is a successful teaeber of dancing at Los Angeles, made a great hit as director of a floral pageant given there recently. It was under the auspices of the prominent society people of the City of Angels, and Mrs. Kramer was the committee on costumes. The Los Angeles papers were filled with words ot praise for the entertainment and the successful director.
