Ira Grover retires from Gulick A Co's drug store this evening, and will engage with Wm. Wood A Co., publishers of medical books, which service will cause him to travel more or less in this vicinity.

R. Foster, on north Fourth street, intends during the coming month to offer Furniture of every description at prices which will greatly reduce his immense stock.

If you will call on C. C. Fisbeck, 212 Main street, you will find a nice stock of Men's Saddles, well made heavy Harness and Lap Robes and Blankets at very low prices.

Drop in there anyhow and take a look at tho pretty things.

New Years day is the day for forming good resolutions. It will be well to resolve to drink less, swear none, contribute more to piety, to be kind to your poor relations, not because they are poor, but because they may be rich one of these days by saving money in buying their groceries and table supplies at P. J. Kaufman's big grocery house, corner of Seventh and Main streets, for you get there the best there is in the market and at the lowest prices.
