Dr. Worrell will probably land in New York to-day or to-morrow on his .return from Europe.

T. W. Harper goes to Muncie to-day to attend the funeral of a cousin, a young man who was just approaching the close of college life, with the bright est promise of a brilliant future.
James 1,\ Townley, of the firm of Townley Brothers, took for a bride Thursday evening, Miss Lillie Stimson, a sister of attorney Stlmson. Rev. Thos. Parry solemnljted the ceremony at the bomeof tho bride, 1125south Third street.
We are sorry to learn that Manager "White, of Owen, Pixley A Co's., will .leave us in a few days. He goes to Indianapolis, where his wife is recovering from a severe illness. He will stay with 'the house there until the first of the year, and then go into the clothing business for himself at Ottuinwa, Iowa. 8. I). Wnger, formerly of Adams' photograph gallery, writes us to send The Mail to his address, at Memphis, Tenn., instead of to Miss Maggie A. Lowry, Troy, Kentucky, as that lady is now his wife. The many friends here of this gonial gentleman will be glad to learn be IIH* found so good a wife.
