Christmas, 188
When yon think of baying your Christmas presents this season, it would be wise to consider the present condition of things, when actual living is higher than it has been sincethe war, when it takes as nrach as many a man can earn to provide for the necessities of his family, and then make up your mind to buy your relatives .. and friends a usefiil present and not an ornilnental one. A nice CL0AE will do many a man's wife more service than a fine Vase, and many a lady wonld rather have a nice HANDKERCHIEF, or a SKIRT, or a TIE, or a COLLAR, than a iancy article, for the mantel. We have prepared largely for the HOLIDAY TRADE with useM goods at lowest prices, and we think that whea Christmas is over and' "people have soberec down from the strain of their purse, those will surely feel the happiest who have boughttheir useful Holiday Presents of us
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS
