S. W. Holmes, son ofv Arba Holmes, formerly of this city, died at Fortville, this State, on the 20th inst.

Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Harper spent Thanksgiving at Mrs. H's old home, in the pretty town of Muncie.

Hon. Wm. Mack bas recently received from Europe a large addition to his interesting collections of stereoscopic views of ruins, scenery, and works of art.
