C. W. Grover, of Parke county, has arrived with his family at his new home, near Elko, Nevada, and of course the first thing be does is to send back for The Mail, which he forgot to have forwarded. He arrived there on the 31st of March. He says he "found the country wild and strange, but presume will like it pretty well. Big snow storm Monday and Tuesday, bat weather clear and pleasant now. Made garden yesterday."
We are pleased to learn that the eminent firm of Steinway dfc Sons, through one of their representatives has arranged with Mr. L. Kissner to act es agent fcr their Piano?, in this city and vicinity. The firm Is to be congratulated in obtaining suah a thorough, practical man t) represent them in this city, and at the same time Mr. Kissner can be congratu lated in adding to his already justly celebrated array of Instruments one of such a world-wide, established reputation as enjoyed by the Stein ways, Mr. Kissner enjoys superior advantages over any other dealer here, if not in the State. Mr. Kissner, having been a teacher of music for years in Crawfordsville and Greencastle, previous to going Into the Music Trade, and both father and son being practical werkmen, are able to repair and put in thorough tune anything, from an Acoordeon op to a l*iano, or the largest Church Pipe Organ, which latter was proved by the Episcopal church, as the card below will show:
