NEW YORK MARCH 25tb, 1879.

EDITOR OP MAIL, I have been in this city during the past ten days, and expect to remain here about a week longer.

During my stay here I have been enabled to close out for cash extensive lines of BLACK, COLORED, and FANCY SILKS, DRESS GOODS, of Heaviest and Choicest Styles, LINEN GOODS of Every Description and many other kinds of choicest goods.

Most of tbe articles named were purchased from importers direct, who bad orders from the Consignors in Europe to sell, in order to realize the cash, whereby I was enabled to secure tbe goods at from 15 to 25 per cent, under regular wholesale prices, enabling us to offer tbe goods to our patrons far lower than any house in Terre Haute could possibly sell them. Our purpose is to give our customers tbe full benefit of tbe fortunate purchases, and they will be astounded when tbey come to learn of tbe wonderful bargains they can obtain.
