FESTIYAL AND RECEPTION. The peonle of St. Agnes Mission are determined to bravely meet the responsibilities of the great mission work in this thriving city, that Providence has thrown on their hands. They are strong in faith if not in finances. To help in the latter they are making ample arrangements for a Festival at St. Agnes Hall, next Monday evening, Oct. 4. It is also intended to combine with the Festival a Reception and Donation, for the benefit of their new pastor, Rev. Dr. Reed. Dr. Reed has taken hold of the mission work with great earnestness and hopefulness, and no better disposition can be made of money for beneficent purposes than helping hira and his parishioners in their commendable work. Don't forget Monday evening, October -1th.
