Tirs marriage of Mr. John Schnell and Miss Maty H. Keuneke, daughter of tbe proprietor of Harmonia Hall, on Monday evening, was celebrated in grand style, at tbe residence of the bride's ftther. Three hundred persons sat down to the marriage feast in the large hall of the building, and the merry dance followed until the small hoars of the morning. The H«t of wedding presents, although perhaps not wo costly, were more numerous and more useful than any list publisbed this season. Mr. Schnell hi the industrious and excellent foreman of White A Mewhinney'a bakery. He has a eotnfbrtahJo residemfe, on east Main street, into which the happy pair have already set up housekeeping.

The secona (or November) Installment of taxes must be paid prior to the fifteenth (IS) day of November next, as the books will be turned over to the auditor alter that date: and there will be an additional expense of ten (10) por cent, added thereto.
County ordera will be taken fbr one third (Vi) the amount of each tax-payer's tax.
This course is particularly deemed necessary in order tbat the treasurer can meet the claims of the state and school funds.
And the treasurer would respectfully suggest to each person interested not to postpone the payment of tax until the last day, as the crowd will prevont waiting en each as promptly as oould be desired. (As the 16th day of November comes on Sunday, this year, the 14th (on Saturday) is the last for paying taxes before the penalty is imposed.)
