TERRE HAUTE SATURDAY EVENING MAIL.

A MODEL DRY MOM PALACE! [Fwm the Oay foonty Enterprise.] Again we fwi called upon to direct the atlentton of our readers to one of the laxgeat and beat regulated business houses in the West—the Mammoth Dry Goods Palace of Wilson Bros, A Hunley northw«*t comer tsf Main and Fifth streets, Terre Haute, Indiana. This house is known by the people of Clay oountv as one of the moat reliable inatiutioiirt of the kind in this vicinity. It is Hlways crowded chuck full of every variety of goods in the Dry Gooda line, and their wock of Ladles' Drees Goods is surpassed by no other stock in the land.

Mr. Hunley haa lived in Terre Haute for many years during which time he has won the respect of everybody and haa gained onvbible reputation as one of the Best judges of durable goods in the Prairfe Cuy. Mr. Wllaon^s ulso an old and experienced Dry Goods man of some St) years, and knows exactly bow and when to buy and what to buy to pleaae the people. They buy no shoddy auction goods, but purchase of first-class eastern •houses, whore they secure their stock at such low figures aa to enable them to give the people bettor bargains than they could possibly get from other less experienced merchants.

Wo were shown through their store ou Saturday, where we saw one of the largest ana nobbiest stocks of Dry Goods and Ladies Dress Goods that wo have over seen in a.drv goods store. Their large corpse of polite clerks were busy as bees waiting upon the scores of customers which lined their counters. We met many persons.there from Bowling Green, Sullivan, Rockvllle, Marshall, Paris Mattoou, and some from Charleston, 111., the old home of Mr. Alt Wilson, where they were laying iu their summer supplies of goods. They say the^ can buy goods oT these gexulemen so much below tho prices of the same articles iu their own tewns, as to enable them to pay their fare to Terre Haute and return, and Have enough to pay them well for their time In going.

Their spring stock Is daily arriving, and if the people of Clay county desire bargains, they had better call on tlioin. when you go to Terro Haute to buy remember that this Is tho leading goods house there—and that they will sell you goods on "square" principles. A street railroad runs direct to this house from the Union and Cincinnati depots. Tell the conductor to stop at ili Bros. A Hunlcy's.-

CORONER MULL'S CARD.'

To the Editor of the Express: An editorial appeared in The Saturday Evening Mail severely censuring tho coroner of Vigo eonnty because he had held an inquest on tho body of C. Fred, a lad of eleven years of age. Tho tacts in the case, brief, are follows, vis: M*. David Christie, formerly coroner of this countv, came to me arid stated that the boy (C. Fred) had leen severely kicked in the aldomen, by an older and larger boy, and tho opinion generally was the said C. Fred had died from the iryuries thus inftioted also, ho referred me to where I could find evidence to corroborate his statements to- me, which I did by following his directions. As to results, I feel I (lid propei in setting the community right as to the case of nis death, thereby relieving Jerry Welsh from all blame which wras attached to him prior to the inquest. As relates to the the part in which J. P. Johnson, deceased, is alluded to in The Moil, it is false from tho beginning to the end, as I was called,: on to liold an inquest on deceased by James Turner. by request of relatives, but abandoned it on account that the relatives were satisfied as to cause of his death. Besidca, the friends and relatives are satisfied tho same I had to-day from Riley McKeen, while conversing on the subject of what appeared in The Mail of Saturday. »UI ,!- *. W. D. MULJL., Coroner.
