POTATO SOOT.—'Take

six potatoes,

medium siee, and one onion: pare and put in one quart of water boil one hour and (hen strain through a colander, Ailing up if the water has boiled away add a piece of butter as large as an egg popper and salt to taste, and last, a quart of sweet cream us soon as bot, serve with crackers or bread.
