We beg leave to call especial attention to the advertisement of J. B. Lyne A Co., to be found in another column. FrOm our long acquaintance with the parties composing this Arm (Mr. J. B. Lyne and Mr. Ira Delano),and from their high character as honest and respectable business men, and also from their facilities lor procuring their goods at first hands, we are confident persons wishing anything in their line will be fairly and honestly dealt with. E. D. Harvey is said to be one of the most remarkable men in the city. He is remarkable for his enterprise. Then he is ambitious. He is not satisfied with having the largest stock of Furniture in the city, but also aspires to keep the finest stock. "I'll never burn anything else for lights," said an old lady as she called at the Queensware Store of H. S. HOW A RAT RAN AWAY WITH THE HEART OF NAPOLEON. This story is not new, but there isn interest about it which will jwstify H» republication. It is related by an American who rqcently rQturued front Paris:
I have soen it stated somewhere, with what truth I caro not to inquire, that when the "Great Napoleon" died at St. Helena, his heart was rcn»oved before his interment, with the design of preserving it as the most fitting memento of the great deeds which its realless impulses had suggested—as a trophy, also, it may not perhaps lw unfair to suggest, cherished by Wellington and his associates, just ns somosuccessful Indian chief would cherish tho scalp of some warlike antagonist whom he deemed a foeman worthy of his scalping knifb.
