Latest deaths reported were Walter Whitney, age 5, Anderson; Don Pingree, age 32, Gary, and Robert McMurtury, age 27, Lynnville. The two new cases were from "Madison and Lake Counties.

Health Board officials said the case total stood at 816 whie the death toll reached 87. There were 74 Indiana counties affected as Indiana passed its previous ailtime polio high by a wide margin.

The Wesleyan class held their September meeting in the shelter house at the Sullivan City Park with Mrs. Arnold Grimes and Mrs. Robert Solsman, hostesses. A delicious supper was served. Devotions by Mrs. Ralph Woodward.
