Indianapolis Cuts Si. Paul Lead By United Press l With four more American Association games to be played, Indianapolis came to within 2games of league-leading St. Piul last night by shutting out visiting Louisville for the second straight game to win 2 to 0. " St. Paul lost at Kansas City 6 to 4; Minneapolis won at Milwaukee 4 to 2 and Columbus split a doubleheader at Toledo 2 to 1 and 8 to 1. The Indians' first run tame on Gerry Scala's homer in the second and they si.-rl another run in the fourth. Pitcher Mclvin Queen gave up only two hits to the Colonels while his teammates got six. Kansas City lead St. Paul all
the way. The Bices got single runs in the first and fourth and sent four men home in the fifth. St. Paul got a single tally in the fifth and scored three times in the eighth before the rally was snuffed out. Milwaukee, took a temporary lead in the fourth when they scored two runs against .the Millers' one in the first. Minneapolis tied it up ntxt inning and scored once each in the seventh and eighth. Columbus opened the doubleheader by scoring one man in the first but Toledo! evened the score in the third and put across the winning run in the sixth. Toledo scored on three hits while giving up five. In the night cap the Red Birds got two runs in the second, rn'f in the sevpnth and one more in the ninth. The lone Toledo tally came home in the seventh.
