Sullivan, became the bride of Don Courtney, son of Mrs. Alice Courtney of Sullivan, Friday evening, September 2, at 8 o'clock at the Sullivan First Methodist Church. The vows of the double ring ceremony were read by the Rev. E. E. Aldrich, pastor of the church, before an altar banked with white gladtolas and lighted candelabra. Miss Beverly McCammon, close friend of the bride, sang "Because," "Always" and "The Lord's Prayer." The . bride, given in marriage by her father, was lovely in a street-length dress of rust color-: ed satin with green accessories. Miss Myrna Hughes and Paul Sims, both of Sullivan, were their only attendants. Miss Hughes wore a -Kelly green suit with brown accessories. Mr. and Mrs. Courtney will make their home in Sullivan. They are both employed ' by the Public Service Company of Indiana.

Gray of Marengo, I1L The Rev. Morris C. Robinson, Of Grace Presbyterian Church, Minneapolis, Minn., officiated Lefore an altar banked with baskets of gladioli and lighted tapers in candelabra. Mrs. Dalton Shmoek sang "Bean's 2'' and "I Love .You Dear" accompanied at the organ by Miss Nancy Dodge. The bride's parents, who celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary Sunday, are Mr. and Mrs. Albert L. Weatherman of 943 Oakland Street, South Bend. Mr. and Mrs. Oakley Gray of
Marengo, 111., are the ' bridegroom's parents. Preceding the bride to the
altar were her sister, Mr';. William D. Smith, who was matron of honor, the Misses Virginia Stillson and Norma Gray cf Marengo, 111, sister of the bridegroom, bridesmaids, ami Miss Janice Marlowe of Gary, Ind., a cousin of the bride, was a junior attendant. Shelby Gray, sister of the bridegroom, was flower girl. Richard Bartone of Mishawaka, was ring bearer. Attending the bridegroom as best man was his rousin, Jack Henning. ""William D. Smith and Lamar T. Smith, ushered. A period gown of bridal satin was selected by the bride for her wedding. A bertha of Chantilly lace outlined the marquisette
yoke and the same lace cascaded down the front of the full skirt and accented the long tra'n. Her
finger-tip veil was edged in lace and fell from a crown of peatl orange blossoms. She carried an orchid on a white Bible. Mrs. Smith wore an orchid.

The bridesmaids were attired in identical gowns in Nile green and the junior attendant wore a gown of yellow Taffeta.
