t wicn, iiccii oiiaii live, a- ji ao liic r aLiiei hath life in Himself ; so hath He given to the Son to have life in Himself; and hath given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He, is the Son of Man. Marvel not at this; for the hour is coming in the which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil to the resurrection of damnation." Jno. 5 :25-29. In spite of the plain teaching of this scripture, and many others we could mention, concerning a future life
after death, there are those so .foolish and ignorant and
oaian aeiuaea, as to say (whether they believe it or not) with a shrug of the shoulders, "Well, when we are dead, we are dead, and that is the end." That is what you think, my friend ; but it is not according to the word of God. Naaman thought that Elisha would "come out and strike his hand over the place and recover the leper," 2 Kings 5:11, but it didn't work out that way. Those who do not know God, are doubtless hoping this will be the end, but man will never be as much alive in this world as he will be when the soul leaves the bodv and enters its Eternal
abode. The unsaved will then begin an eternity of torment, in a lake cf fire prepared for the Devil and his angels, from which there will be no deliverance, and the
aorror oi wn;cn no human mind can begin to comprehend; while to the saved (the born asrain it will mean the he-
ginning of a life of such beauty, and glory, and rapture, as the mind cannot conceive of. and which shall never end.
There are two resurrections mentioned in our Scrip-

L:ccur one thousand years anart. Rev. 20:5. The first is
t, that of the saved dead, and takes nlare at. the
Christ for His Church (the born again) as we read in 1 Thess. 4:16, 17, "For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so .shall we ever, be with the Lord." This is not a reward, as some would have you believe,' bur is' the' undeniable portion -of air who through the new birth have become children of God. This is when the souls of those who have already been with the Lord (the saved dead) are reunited with the body (now glorified) and with the living saints, likewise changed, go "to be forever with the Lord." These, after spending seven years with the Lord, during which time occur the "marriage supper cf the Lamb" and the "judgment seat of Christ" to determine their reward and place in the coming thousand year reign of Christ on earth, "return with Him to earth on white horses, clothed m fine linen, white and clean"; Rev. 19:14, at which time the nations of the world will be judged for sin, and according to their treatment of His brethren the Jews, and those nat'ons who have mistreated them, 'the wicked, shall "go away into everlasting punishment, while those who have shown them mercy, the righteous, into life eternal." Read Matt. 25:31-46, Rev. 19:15-21 and Zech. 14. During this thousand year reign of Christ, the Jews will be the lead'jior nation: "the head, and not the fail-"
the curse shall be removed, and "righteousness and the
knowledge oi the Lord shall cover the earth, as the waters cover the sea." At the end of this period of time. Satan, who has been shut up in the bottomless nit. Rev
20:1, 2, will be "loosed a little season" "and shall tm nut.
to deceive the nations, which are in the four quarters of the earth, to gather them together to battle, and they
ndu compass me camp -oi the saints about, and the beloved c:ty; and fire shall come down from God out of Heaven and devour them." Rev. 20 :8, 9. Then comes the resurrection of the wicked dead, of all ages, Rev. 20:11-15, only to be cast again into the lake of fire and brimstone; the new Heavens, and the new earth appear; the Holy City comes down from God out of Heaven, Rev. 21, and the Eternal reign of our Lord and
His Christ begins and never ends. Where will you be at that time ; in this air conditioned city, or in the lake of fire? It all depends on whether, or not. you have been
I born again; not on what you do, or do not do. (Adv.)

HERE is a pleasant little game that will give you a message every day. It is a numerical puzzle designed to spell out your fortune. Count the letters in your first name. If the number of letters is 6 or more, subtract 4. If the number is less than 6, add 3. The result is your key number. Start at the upper left-hand corner of the rec- ' tangle and check every one of your key numbers, left to right. Then read the message the letters under the checked figures give you.
