Mrs. Addie Mae Trimble. I Sept. 21, 1880 Aug. 11, 1949 j Wno can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above ri'b'eb. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her. She will do him good and not evil all the" days of her life. She seeketh wcol, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. She riseth also while , it is yet night, and giveth meat to her

household. She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. Strength and honour are her

clothing, and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the

br,ead of idleness. Her children arise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou exceedest them all Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. The Lord is my light and nty salvation; whem shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me. Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: Wait, I say, .on the Lord.

The angel called Death has visited another home and taken the scul of Addie Trimble to her heavenly reward;' to that house not made with hands, eternal ih the heavens. '." This entire community- was shocked and. grieved Thursday afternoon, when the news spread, telling of Mrs. Trimble's sudden, and what seems to us, untimely death. ,' We do ot know or understand the designs of our Heavenly Father, thus, to us her death does

seem untimely, yet, no doubt, in

the Infinite plan it is the right time. There are no errors in the plan God has fixed for His children. To every puzzling problem God knows the secret clue, While we stand by bewildered Trymg to work it through. But someday threads will be loosened And the puzzle God secretly spun, Will begin its slow unwinding . . Till the puzzle is all undone. Addie Mae Padgett, daughter of Cashes and Martha Correll P.adgett, was born in Haddon township, Sullivan County, Indiana on September 21, 1880. In this Christian home she grew from childhood to womanhood surrounded by the best of home environments. She was instructed by her parents of the better way of life, and these instructions she has not only followed in her own life, but she has endeavored to teach her own children that it pays to live a straight and honorable life. On February 16, 1908 Addie Mae Padgett was united in holy wedlock to Scott Trimble, and God blessed their union by giving

to their care four children. Mrs. Trimble's supreme interest in life was the love and care for her family, and to this labor of love she exerted her every energy. Her family will ever treasure the sweet memory of her devotion and her unselfish sacrifice

for ihem. She was a faithful wife I and help-mate; a .kind, loving mother; and a good friend and neighbor to all who were privileged to know her. She was, a loyal member of the Mt. Zion church of Christ. , Mrs. Trimble died in the Mary Sherman hospital, Sullivan, Ind., on August 11, 1949. She has passed from the gloom and woes and sunset of this world to the beau-i

tiful, glorious sunrise of heaven. She had fought a good fight; She has kept the faith, She is survived by the husband, Scott Trimble; by two daughters, Mrs. Lela Trimble LeDune, of Carlisle, R. R. and Mrs.. Audrey Trimble Brust, of Elwood, Tnd.; by two sons, Herschell Trimble and Medford Trimble, both of Carlisle, R. R.; by three grandchildren; and by two sisters, Mrs. Alzora Watson and Mrs. Effie Douthitt, both of Carlisle. There is no time that we could set For parting We who must remain Are never ready for such pain. Ever our prayer would be; "Not yet: Not yet, dear Lord; another day, With us let our beloved stay." We must believe when falls the blow That wisely God has willed it so. It seemeth such a little way to me Across to that strange country the beyond; And yet not strange, for it has grown to be The home of those of whom I am so tfond. They make it seem familiar and most dear As journeying friends bring distant countries near.

And so, to me, there is no sting in death, ' And so the grave has lost its victory It is but crossing, with abated breath And white-set face, a little strip of sea, -To find the loved ones waiting on the shore More beautiful more precious than before. Hal McFarland. 8-14-49.
