ernoon, July 20. The meeting was opened by singing "Jesus Calls Us." Prayer by Mrs. Bruce. The president, Harriett Ogle, announced an all day District meeting to be held Friday, Aug. 19, at Sullivan City Park. This meeting is to be held in honor of four new District officers. Devotions, Mrs. Clayton. Song, "I'll Go Where You Want Me to Go, Dear Lord." Scripture reading, John 1:1-57. Prayer and meditation on Africa, Mrs. Clayton. Clippings on subject, Opal Parnell, Dercie Orr and Mabel Minich. Dorothy Smith gave an inspiring talk on her plans for preparing to be a missionary in Africa. She gave a very interesting and instructive talk on conditions and needs of missionary work in Africa? Closing prayer, Gaynelle Smith. Nineteen were present. During the social hour the hostess served refreshments.
