with out-of-town teams, beating Marshall, 111., by a score of 3 to 2 behind the pitching of Grimes, but losing to Danville, 111., by a score of ,5 to 4 in nine innings. Myers was the losing pitcher. In the first game Friday night Rickards won a non-league game from the Eagles by 4 to 2. Hardesty was the winning pitcher and Borden the loser.
