Split Doubleheaders The Louisville Colonels climbed up from seventh to sixth place in the American Association standings today after taking a doubleheader from the Toledo Mudhens 12 to 1 and 4 to 2. It was the only change in standings over the weekend.. In other doubleheaders yesterday, Indianapolis edged out Columbus 7 to 6 and was subdued 9 to 4; Kansas City was hammered down 3 to 0 at St. Paul and then triumphed 8 to 6, and Milwaukee was trouncced 12 to 6 and 7 to 6 at Minneapolis. The Redbirds went ahead .in the second frame of the first game with the Indians by rapping in three runs. They batted in another run in the sixth, when the Indians, who up to then were scoreless, suddenly turned on the steam. In that inning Indianapolis

drove in two runs and Les Fleming belted a two run homer, ty

ing the score 4 to 4. In the ninth frame Indianapolis spurted ahead with three runs to Columbus' two, giving the Indians a 7 to G edge.
