FIGG-RIDGE VOWS READ The home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Figg was the scene of a

beautiful weddine Friday night, 1 December 24th when their daughter, Janet. Rae Figg, became jthe bride of George Ridge Jr., 1 son of Mr. and Mrs. Audry Ridge ' of Carlisle, R. 2. The double jring ceremony was read by the Rev. Jack Anderson of the Sullivan First Christian Church. James Figg, only brother of the bride, was best man. Erma Figg, sister-in-law of the bride, acted as bridesmaid. The bride wore an aqua blue crepe dress with matching accessories and carried a corsage cf nink sweet peas. Mrs. Figg, mother of' the bride, wore a black faille dress with matching accessories and a corsage of red carnations. Mrs. I Ridge wore a black dress and a corsage of orchid sweet peas. The bride is a graduate of the Carlisle Hifh School with the class of 1946. . Mr. ' Ridge atttended the Pleasantville High School where he was very active in basketball. PAXTON Don Hiatt of the U. S. Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis came home to spend the Christmas holiday with his mother Mrs. Roscoe Alsman. Mrs. Elsie Stone and Edgar spent Christmas Day in Terre Haute with Mr. and Mrs. John Stone and family. Miss Donna Rose Houpt spent Tuesday with Mrs. Erma Figg. Allison .
