Shelburn Wins, Merom Loses Shelburn's Panthers made good use of free throws last night to beat Linton's Miners, and the

Merom Beavers lost another, this time to Prairie Creek. The Panthers had a slight edge on Linton in field goals, but they cashed in on the 32 fouls called against the Miners to register a 57 to 31 victory. There were 17 fouls called on Shelburn. The Miners stayed with the Panthers for the first half, trailing 20 to 16 as the second half opened. However, with , the Miners losing four men on five fouls each, the Panthers had little difficulty winning. Sluder got 23 points to pace the Panthers attack. McCullough got 10 points for Linton.

The Merom Beavers continued losing at Prairie Creek last night, with the home Gophers chalking up an easy 70 to 23 victory. The winners jumped into an early lead and had little

DUGGER W.S.C.S. The W.S.C.S. of the Dugger Methodist church held their annual Christmas program at the church Friday night. The regular monthly program was given by the . ladies of the W.S.C.S. The Birth of Christ was read by Mrs. Lucy Suddarth. Christmas carols were sung by the entire group. The ladies then went to the dining room where refreshments were served at tables decorated in keeping with the Christmas season. A gift exchange was a feature of the evening.

GRAYSVILLE F.F.A. INSTALLS CHAPTER The junior and senior boys of Graysville, including the officers of F.F.A., went to Pimento Thursday, Dec. 16, to help get an F.F.A. chapter started there. Each of the seven Graysville officers explained a point about Future Farmer work to the vocational agriculture classes.
