PLEAS ANTVILLE W.S.C.S. The Pleasantville W.S.C.S. met Tuesday night for their Christmas meeting at the home of Mrs. Verne "Spencer with Mrs. Helen Edwards as co-hostess. The house was beautifully decorated in keeping with Christmas. The meeting opened with group singing, "O "Come All Ye Faithful" followed iy prayer by Julia Brown. The. Scripture lesion was given by Mary Bishop.

HOME EC. CLUB IY1EETS ' The Hi-way Home Economics club held their Christmas meeting Dc. 15th at the Legion home in Carlisle, with a covered dish supper. The dining room and table were beautifully decorated in keeping with Christmas. Vesta Davidson played Christmas carols on the organ before the meeting. After supper Gaynell Smith gave the devotions telling the story of Christ. Songs "O Come All Ye Faithful" and "Silent Night" were sung by the group. Prayer by Gaynell Smith. Margaret Price, president, then was in charge of the meeting. Pledge to the flag and song of the month, "The First Noel" by group. Leaders for the training meeting were chosen as follows: pressure cooking, Ruth Henderson and Margaret Ellis; flower arrangement, Lois Krueger and Gaynell Smith;, sewing, Eliza Alsman and Nell Johnson; time saving, Vesta Davidson and Ella Rodgers; furniture arrangement, Bertha Rodgers and Zelma Bacholer. Dismissed by club prayer. - The group then went to the club xoom for the entertainment which wa in charge of Lois Krueger. More carols were play
ed by Vesta Davidson. An exchange of gifts and contests were enjoyed with prizes going to Bertha Rodgers and Gaynell Smith. Those present were Nell Johnson, Ethel Hoover, Vesta Davidson, Ruth Jared, Zelma Bacholer, Leona Johanningsmeier, Ella Rodgers, Gaynell Smith, . Ethel Maple, Ruth Henderson, Bertha Rodgers, Eliza Alsman, Doris Keiht, Margaret Price, Bess Parnell, and Mary Ann Troth. The next meeting will be on January 19 at the Legion Home with Vesta Davidson and Eliza Alsman as hostess. The auxiliary has 34 members.
