SOCIETY VILLAGE HOMEMAKERS The Village Homemakers held their annual Christmas party at the Baptist Church Tuesday tveing. Dec. 14th. The tables were artistically arranged with centerpieces hi Christmas trees ' and candles. Mrs. Virgil Baldwin -at the orCan played Christmas music during the dinner hour. Following the dinner a short welcoming speech was eiven by the president, Mrs. Ronald Rus-' fell, after which a program of entertainment was enjoyed by the members and guests. Mrs. Foss Harbaugh gave a reading, "A Gift For The King". Miss Pat Spencer accompanied by Mrs. Ralnh Adams sang "Holy Night", "White Christmas" and "Santa Claus is Comin? to Town". A contest was enjoyed with Mrs. Wilfred Usrey receiving the prize. As a fitting climax to the evening Hania Claus anoearsd to distribute the gifts that were under the Christmas tree. CLASS PARTY The Young Adult Class of the Dodd Bridge Church enjoyed a a delicious turkey dinner at the Turman House Thursday evening. The tables were decorated in keeping with the holiday season. The business meeting was called to order by the president, Lena Woodard. Devotions by Malcolm -M-Clure ter:,.wbich ifa ,group joined in the singing of Christmas carols. Mrs. Irene McClure gave "The Night Be(or'e' Christmas" and the little children of the class members responded by singing "Jingle Bells," accompanied by Freirta Hayden at the piano.
