JOBS UPON A TIME Blond Marion Hutton ( sister of the films' Betty Hutton), vocalist and commedienne on the Jack Carson air show, wanted to be a nurse when she was in her teens, and took a premedical course at Detroit Technical school. When she was forced to leave school at 17 and go to work, she found singing more enjoyable and better paying. Her first job was in a popular Detroit night club in 1937. Her first commercial radio commitment came in 1940 with the late Glenn Miller's orchestra. Then she did a theater tour with Tex Beneke and his troup until Tex went into the Army. Marion has been working solo ever since.

Brian Aherne can, if he would, boast of a distinguished career on the stage and in movies both in his native England and here. He made his London debut at the age of 12, and has been alternating on British and American films and stage ever since. He came to the United States in :P33 to play opposite Katharine !
