SOCIETY BIRTHDAY LUNCHEON FOR MRS. CROVVDER Mrs. Ernest Davis and Ed Crowder entertained Friday with a luncheon bridge at the Davis Hotel, honoring . their mother, Mrs. Amelia Crowder, on her 80th birthday. The Christmas motif was used in the decorations and the large birthday cake with candles" was the highlight of the dessert course. FRIENDSHIP CLASS MEETS On Tuesday night the Friendship class of the Methodist church held their " Christmas party at the class parlor. At 6:30 a turkey dinner was served to
