Phone 477 rest following a disturbance at a station ' where he planned to give a 30-minute talk on "The Unseen Enemy." The case was first filed in city court but was later dropped there in order that it could be refiled in the Monroe Circuit Court. The Circuit Court case was dropped today when the manager of the radio station refused to sign an affidavit against Powell. The argument ensued at the radio station when Powell was asked to refrain from using part of the script whbh statifcn officials said was "a series of attacks on newspapers, malaria, the Catholic church, Communism and the country's national leaders." In refusing to sign the affidavit, the station manager said he case had reached a point now where Powell was "only interested in publicity." Mrs. Ruth Banks spent Thanksgiving in Terre Haute with her daughter, Mrs. Herb Beasley and family. 'Mr. and Mrs. Don McCullough have bought the Willis property on South Court Street. Murphy Draper, who is a patient in the Union Hospital in Terre Haute has undergone two blood transfusions. His condition is somewhat improved. Mrs. Dallas Stewart spent last week in Terre Haute the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Eldred and Mr. and Mrs. Orville Martin. . '
