Mr, and Mrs. Charlie Monroa attended the funeral of Tommie j Smith at Liberty Church Wedi nesday afternoon. Mr. Smith was a former resident of Shelburn. He passed away at his home in Gary Monday.

In 1917 Kaufman married Beatrice Bakrow, and they have a daughter, Anne.
